The State Coaching and Officiating Centre maintains an e-mail list which provides interested coaches and officials with up to date information regarding conferences, updating courses, and coaching and officiating courses.
If you would like to be included in our e-mail list and receive information relevant to you, please click here and provide us with the following information: Name, Sport, Email address, and whether you are interested in coaching information, officiating information (eg judges, referees and umpires), or both.

Tools and Tips for New Coaches and Officials
The new web pages for community level coaches and officials are now live. The pages are called "Tools and Tips for New Coaches and Officials", and they can be accessed from www.ausport.gov.au/coachofficial , then click on the "Tools & Tips" button on the right .

Australia Newsletter
The Australian Sports Commission produces a six monthly ‘Coaching
Australia’ Newsletter. The newsletter provides accredited
coaches with information and news about the National Coaching
Accreditation Scheme, coaching issues, major initiatives and
happenings in coaching/sport.
Sports
Coach Magazine
The Australian Sports Commission also produces a quarterly
‘Sports Coach’ magazine. The magazine provides
coaches, in particular beginning and intermediate level coaches,
with interesting, useful and up-to-date coaching information.
Coaches Code of ethics
The Australian Sports Commission (ASC) believes that the responsibility
for the ethical conduct of sport in Australia rests equally
with officials, players, administrators, coaches, spectators,
media, educators, parents, governments, sponsors and team
owners.

Member Protection Officer
A Member Protection Officer, formerly known as a Harassment
Contact Officer, is the first point of call in a club or sporting
organisation for any enquiries, concerns or complaints about
harassment and abuse. The Officer provides confidential information
and moral support. The Officer is integral to the successful
implementation of a sport’s Member Protection Policy.
