Clubs - Volunteers

The ORS encourages clubs to develop a Volunteer Management Policy. This can form a part of the Risk Management Plan and can include issues such as training.

Many clubs are experiencing difficulty in recruiting and retaining volunteers, This is where a Volunteer Management Policy can help. Training on managing volunteers is available from the VMP resource.

There is also a significant amount of information available to promote and protect volunteers, including the Volunteer Protection Act.
