Recreation and Sport Development Network
(D-Net)
D-Net meets five times each year.
Its primary role is to ensure that State Development
Officers in sport and recreation organisations have access
to the latest information. Each D-Net meeting includes updates
on programs and resources being developed or provided by the
Office for Recreation and Sport, training opportunities and
professional development programs.
Attendance is free and both paid and volunteer
State Development Officers can attend, as can representatives
from associated bodies, such as training providers, schools,
the health sector, disability services, youth groups, multicultural
groups, local government, or any group with an interest in
promoting and developing sport and active recreation opportunities
in South Australia.
Between meetings information is provided via
e-mail.

The latest D-Net meeting was held on Tuesday 27 May at the Office for Recreation and Sport. Minutes from this meeting are attached below along with the presentations delivered.

Through a network of be active Regional Field Officers
regional D-Net workshops are being conducted to support regional
Development Officers.
