What is a SASI High Performance and Paralympic Scholarship?
The SASI High Performance and Paralympic Scholarship Program offers financial and service assistance to individual athletes who have achieved an elite level of performance in their sport at the senior open level.

The High Performance and Paralympic Scholarship Program has been designed to assist successful applicants:

  • implement a 12 month training and competition program
  • have access to SASI physiology and psychology services, information resources, career and education advice, strength and conditioning advice and facilities
  • offset the costs associated with high performance coaching, training, competition and equipment

  • A letter advises scholarship applicants of the outcome of their application
  • State Sporting Associations will also be notified

Who endorses the application?

Applicants must have their application endorsed by their:

  • Parent or guardian if the applicant is under the age of 18 years
  • Current Coach

All applications will be forwarded to the appropriate State Sporting Association or National Sporting Association by SASI for formal endorsement and to rank the applications against other High Performance or Paralympic applicants within your sport.
