State Sporting Organisations Forum
ASC held a forum for State Sporting Organisations (SSOs) at the Office for Recreation and Sport on Friday, 4 February 2011. It was an opportunity for SSOs to meet with ASC staff, including CEO, Matt Miller and gain an insight into ASCs view of the future for Australian sport. ASCs presentation to SSOs is attached. IPC Swimming World Championships
SASI Paralympic scholarship holder Matthew Cowdrey on his final day of competition at the IPC Swimming World Championships held in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, produced a gold medal performance in the men's 100m backstroke (SP) in world record time of 1:01.85, blitzing the previous world record of 1:03.32. He also won gold in the men's 4 x 100m medley relay.
